Public bus routes:
Service 203 Ormskirk - Burscough - Newburgh - Parbold - Newburgh - Skelmersdale. Hourly Monday to Saturday daytime service from Ormskirk, via the Hesketh Road Estate, through Burscough, Burscough Bridge Interchange (for Tesco), Heathfield Estate, A5209 Lathom, Newburgh, Parbold (to connect with train service), Newburgh, Whalleys to Skelmersdale (via Asda).

Community services: Dial-a-Ride Tel 01704 893373 and County Cars Tel 01257 453784 provide a service for those who do not drive and find it difficult to use public transport. Anyone interested in being a voluntary driver for County Cars please contact Elaine Jones – 01772 534246

Services from Parbold station to Southport, Wigan (connections for West Coast mainline to London and Glasgow) and Manchester.
